Akbal Music is a Mexican based label dedicated to promoting deep and melodic vibes with mystical world music grooves. Inspired, created and driven by its home in the mayan riviera.
Dedication is due to the Mayans with the word 'Akbal' meaning 'power of the blue night' in the Mayan calendar. Akbal releases beat manifestations from vibration curation wizards the world over whilst still maintaining a strong Mexican flavour.
The label’s reputation has gone from strength to strength over the years due, in part, to the commitment and enthusiasm to share great music but also due to the volume and high calibre of its releases. Akbal Music releases include artists such as Nick Curly, Audifoly, Robbie Akbal, Floyd Lavine, Elfenberg, Dance Spirit, Niko Scwhind, Fulltone, Parallels, Veronika Fleyta, Adisyn, Wild Dark, Bloem, + many more.
